I’m Rudi, a local independent plumber covering Leicester, Syston and surrounding areas of Leicestershire.
I started Rudi The Plumber to offer a straightforward, reliable plumbing service without all the unnecessary sales talk. When you contact me, you’re speaking directly to me – the same person who will turn up and carry out the work.
I take on all sorts of plumbing jobs, including the smaller jobs that can sometimes be difficult to find a plumber for. Whether it’s a dripping tap, leaking toilet, faulty valve, blocked waste, outside tap, electric shower or something you're simply not sure about, just get in touch and I’ll let you know if it’s something I can help with.
Small Plumbing Jobs Welcome
You don't need to have a big plumbing job to contact me.
A lot of the work I do is fixing the everyday plumbing problems people put off because they don't know who to call. I’m quite happy coming out to replace a faulty tap, repair a toilet, change a valve or investigate a leak.
Where possible, I also like customers to send me a few photos or a short video before I visit. It gives me a better idea of what I'm dealing with, what parts might be needed and sometimes allows me to give you an idea of the cost beforehand.
Water Filter Installation
One area of plumbing I've become particularly interested in is water filtration.
I install under-sink water filters, dedicated drinking water taps and reverse osmosis systems from a wide range of manufacturers.
Unlike companies selling their own particular filtration system, I'm independent. If you've already bought a Waterdrop, Water2 or another water filtration system and simply need a plumber to install it properly, I can help.
Some installations are very straightforward, while others can involve drilling the sink or worktop, modifying cupboards, connecting waste pipes or finding a suitable power supply for a reverse osmosis system.

Straightforward Plumbing & Honest Advice
I try to keep things simple.
If something can be repaired rather than replaced, I’ll tell you. If there are a couple of ways of doing a job, I’ll explain the options. And if I don't think I'm the right person for a particular job, I'll tell you that too.
I also understand that having somebody working in your home can be disruptive, so I take care when working, try to keep mess to a minimum and leave the area tidy when I've finished.
I'm a sole trader, so my reputation matters to me. The reviews customers leave for my work genuinely make a difference to my business, and I want people to feel comfortable recommending me to their friends and family.
Based Locally, Working Locally
I'm based in Leicestershire and most of my work is around Leicester, Syston and the surrounding areas.
